Summary: Industry Setting - Since 1891, the Trustees of Reservations has been preserving Massachusetts’ landscapes and landmarks for people’s use and enjoyment. As the nation’s premiere private land conservancy, the Trustees have foreseen a shift in conservation techniques towards support and funding from the public. Challenge - The Trustees now needed to move from being know as an “exclusive club” to being know as a welcoming and inclusive organization that improves everyone’s quality of life. Strategy/Result - Lead by Minelli’s brand strategy, The Trustees have been able to expand beyond traditional “conservationists” to bring a much wider audiences into the collective spirit of conservation. Responding to new marketing, programming and visitor experiences, new and existing members alike are building a more emotional connection to the organization and have been inspired to act.
