Summary:

Industry Setting/Challenge - Malcolm Hollis is one of the UK’s longest established and fastest growing commercial building consultants. With a strong reputation with their clients for meeting and often beating deadlines, they have been around long enough to shape the market. As the business embarked on a new era, they asked Radley Yeldar to help them identify what it is that makes them special, what they should be communicating about themselves and where they need to be heading.

Strategy/Result - At its heart of the visual identity is the ‘starburst’, which captures the unique spirit and is made up of over 100 hand-drawn icons that communicate the rich ingredients of this dynamic brand. The ‘starburst’ is alive and full of energy; used in a number of different ways, it’s seen from many perspectives and in varying depths of detail. The icons themselves can be used individually. On the logotype the ‘starburst’ becomes a ‘spark’ of energy that dots the ‘i’ of Hollis. The colour palette is adventurous and vibrant for this sector: fluorescent orange-red, silver and grey.
