2006 ReBrand 100 Winners > notableIndustry: Business/Professional Services - Below: Before Images, Rebrand Images, Summary, Credits![]() Summary: Challenge - As one of the nation's premier public health research organizations, NERI aimed to: a) create a new and vibrant look; b) expand visibility in the marketplace; and c) broaden the target audience. The challenge was to create a look and feel addressing the needs of seemingly very different customers/collaborators (i.e., academic, government, private industry). Strategy - To build upon NERI’s reputation as an independent research organization as a key differentiator in the marketplace. This strategy emphasized its depth/breadth of expertise and credibility with FDA, NIH and others. Our goal was to create a look that was soft corporate – inviting, informative, and concise. Crisp but not glossy. Result - The ultimate design, highlighting the fundamental research activities of NERI, has received extensive praise. It resonates with existing collaborators, and has generated interest with new contacts. It met the goals of vibrancy, increased visibility, and broad appeal (academic, government, private).
