The business began from automotive machineries and eventually became the manufacturer for OEM wheels for many international automobile brands. YACHIYODA expanded its business to the after-market sector, which is a very highly competitive environment. Challenge It's new recognition for high quality standard OEM products placed it in a market segment within which competitive leaders were already well-positioned. In order to make an impressive and distinctive entrance in this market segment, YACHIYODA needed a clear and solid focus, impactful story-telling, distinctive visual identity, and communication to connect to its customers. Strategy Refreshing a brand isn't just about building the perception of audiences. It should be a core initiative from within an organization. Through interviews conducted with staff, qualitative research with target groups, market observations, and brainstorming with the client, we found key points and brand opportunities which then revealed the brand story. That cohesive focus reflects brand characteristics and the company's purpose to fulfill customers' aspirations. With the essences of "Specialty," "Challenging," and "Mission Accomplishment," the YACHIYODA brand comes alive and stands by users of its products as their true partner for any objective. The new visual is applied to all items for a strong and unified communication to all audiences. Result With the clarified visual elements and refreshed brand concept, the client has become more energergized and is currently developing future products aligned with the new focused direction; incorporating the new tag line, "No compromise." YACHIYODA now has its own distinctive identity for the core of its products which has improved its positioning in its desired market segment.
