Industry Setting
University Lectures brings some of the most influential individuals from around the world to educate and inspire in areas such as sustainability, human rights, and the environment. The director of the series is often contacted by other organizations for inspiration and knowledge leadership, in short, University Lectures is an industry leader.

The rebrand for University Lectures occurred in parallel with the rebrand of Syracuse University. While each were separate initiatives, timing and driving force behind each was the same. To breathe a new life in to the University and to demonstrate reach beyond the campus in to the surrounding Syracuse community.

The target audience focus is on students and faculty but reaches beyond the University to the surrounding community. The same creative studio has worked with the lecture series since its inception, a critical factor in the recent effort to rebrand the series. After each season, the group was able to examine the effectiveness of each initiative, refocusing its efforts on the deliverables with the highest visibility and impact. A comprehensive list of effective deliverables were branded and molded in to the current structure. Part of the initiative was creating a dedicated website, and incorporating social media in to the system.

Since the rebrand, the series has been rewarded with lecture halls flooded with spectators for the events. The director is contacted even more frequently for direction from other educational institutions. The website has been featured on the "showcase" and now averages more than 5,200 unique monthly visitors.
