Wilmington College -

Industry Setting
Wilmington College is an independent, four-year, career-oriented, liberal arts college. Founded in 1870 by the Quakers in Wilmington, Ohio, the College is within an hour's drive of Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus, three of Ohio's major cities.

Wilmington College has a rich history of making a transformational and lasting impact in students’ lives. The challenge is attracting students to the school at a time when the ROI on a liberal arts education is being questioned and their Quaker religious affiliation can be polarizing. They needed a compelling story to share that would become the magnet that would attract future generations of students.

"Hands On Learning. Hands on Living" was the synthesis of all the life-changing stories that were shared as we interviewed faculty, alumni and students. Personalized attention combined with the opportunity to engage actively in the learning process is what unleashes each student’s potential. It is not possible to be a passive bystander in your education at Wilmington College. You will be actively engaged in the pursuit of your passions. Every student is also called to live "hands-on" in the world after they graduate in order to reach their full potential and make a lasting impact in their communities and in the world.

“The branding initiative, which included a new visual and verbal identity, has become a rallying point for the College and one that represents growth, change, innovation and a successful future. Not a day has passed since the start of the fall semester that I haven’t seen numerous students wearing T-shirts emblazoned with the College’s new logo. Wilmington College’s hallmark for providing HANDS-ON LEARNING and HANDS-ON LIVING is a winner.”– R. Sarvis, Director Public Relations
