Strategy - An analysis of the consumer electronics category and current Targus equities was performed to determine opportunities for long-term brand manifestation. Brand drivers were then developed with input from Targus global marketing and management to form the guideposts for design development. Unique design themes were formulated against project objectives to set the foundation for a unique and compelling brand identity. Result - A proprietary package structure and new visual identity have set the stage for a distinct Targus personality. The system will be formally launched at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show. Current trade feedback is extremely positive. Additionally, the identity has created a strong rally point for a truly diverse global brand.
