Helen Mets-Morris Vice President and General Manager, Avery Dennison Commercial Graphics and Reflective Products Worldwide Netherlands-base www.averydennison.com Helen Mets-Morris is Vice President and General Manager of Avery Dennison’s global materials division, Commercial Graphics and Reflective Products, which delivers specialist pressure-sensitive products to a variety of markets today -- including corporate identity and architectural signage, vehicle graphics, road traffic and safety, outdoor advertising, and point-of-purchase advertising. Helen’s appointment to this key assignment in 2007 was the latest in a long line of achievements within Avery Dennison – a company she joined in 1987. Over her twenty-four years with the corporation she has managed an increasingly senior portfolio of responsibilities in the specialist pressure-sensitive labelling disciplines served by the Roll Division – which included primary product labels for fmcg products, security/anti-counterfeiting solutions, and pharmaceuticals. Promoted to Vice President and General Manager of the division’s Northern European Region, she controlled strategic and tactical activities in the UK, Ireland, Russia, and the Nordic countries. Appointed Vice President, Growth Initiatives, in 2003, Helen moved to the USA and was given responsibility for leading the company-wide rollout of the globally-respected McKinsey Horizons 1 strategic business program. The program generated significant top line growth revenue and her subsequent appointment as European Vice President and General Manager for the Graphics and Reflective Products Division was both a reflection of her proven business skills and of the need for clear vision and leadership in a highly-dynamic, technologically-advanced end-user marketplace. As global Vice President and General Manager, Graphics and Reflective Products, Helen Mets-Morris fulfils a major entrepreneurial rôle in a Fortune 500 company with 2009 sales of $6 billion and employees in over 60 countries.
