Summary:
Industry Setting - Doppio is a brand and design agency with over 10 years experience in the industry. Over the last two years, the business focus deliberately shifted from publication and design implementation – to brand development and strategy. This shift reflects an increase in multidisciplinary skills and experience, coupled with a genuine desire to offer more engaging solutions to new and existing clients.
Challenge - While the business has organically grown in the brand strategy field, the existing Doppio brand needed maturing to more effectively portray Doppio's experience and knowledge in the area. There was also the need to reposition Doppio in order to shift existing perceptions (internally and externally) and challenge Doppio's position within the industry.
Strategy - To challenge Doppio's current market position, it was important to showcase Doppio’s unique process of working with clients and brands in order to be differentiated within a formidable competitive landscape. ‘Design as an asset’ was developed to convey the tangible attributes of the Doppio service to the client.
This notion is further expressed through the concept of ‘Our Brand of Goodness’. ‘Our Brand of Goodness’ is the feel-good vehicle through which the clients are exposed to the Doppio process. It is what Doppio does, and what Doppio loves.
The new ‘grown up’ look and feel accurately articulates the engaging and knowledgeable voice of Doppio - while maintaining a certain warmth and familiarity that holds true to the way in which the agency runs.
Result - 70 percent of Doppio’s business is now operating in the brand strategy space, with industry exposure ever-increasing through the acquisition of larger clients. 20 percent of potential clients contacted through ‘Goodness’ promotions have granted introductory meetings, yielding 10 percent of studio business.
