2010 REBRAND 100 Winners > merit
Industry: Business-Professional Services Enterprise Rebrand Country Base: USA Below: Before Images, Rebrand Images, Summary, Credits
Summary:
Industry Setting - USIS was a leader in background screening and related data services, serving predominantly large-scale commercial/enterprise businesses, and federal and local government organizations in the US.
Challenge - USIS was both a holding company for two different but related businesses and an operating brand in its own right. The dated USIS name and logo presented limitations for growth, both geographically and in service offerings, and the operating businesses had been unsuccessful in optimizing synergies and cross-selling opportunities.
Strategy - A new brand offered the opportunity to link the operating companies under a common banner and serve as a beacon for growth. Our firm created the new name, Altegrity, to capture the promise of a higher standard of integrity, and a new logo that suggests the multiple layers of data the organization interprets, synthesizes and delivers for clients. A new brand architecture was built around Altegrity as the holding company–enabling the operating brands to be united, while still allowing each to make a distinctive promise to the markets that it serves.
Result - No longer merely a collection of companies, Altegrity today is recognized as a dominant player in the decision intelligence space, with a cohesive vision across the portfolio that speaks to the needs and ambitions of their customers, investors and employees.
