Managing Director, Landor, Hong Kong
Monica is the Managing Director of the Hong Kong office of Landor. She is responsible for the operational management of the office and Landor’s business development in South China and Taiwan. Another important aspect of her role is to oversee the growth of key client relationships.
Monica began her career with Landor in 1989 as Design Director where she worked on a wide range of branding projects including EVA Air, San Miguel Corporation, Philip Morris, Palmolive, President Enterprises, Kodak, Silkair, Singapore Post and Singapore Telecom.
She left Landor in 1994 to take up the position of Creative Director for Tong, McKnew & Nachtigall where she worked closely with companies including Philip Morris, Nestlé Dairy Farm, Amoy, Kraft and Standard Foods.
In 1997, Monica rejoined Landor as Creative Director, bringing with her over a decade of branding expertise in a wide range of industries. She directed major Asia Pacific projects such as Brand Hong Kong, CITIC Ka Wah Bank, First Choice, Tetrapak, Midea, Kelon, Digital China and New World.
She became Client Managing Director and General Manager in 2001, taking up the important responsibilities of building key client relationships as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Hong Kong office. Her branding and design expertise, coupled with her relationship style, has resulted in numerous successful partnerships with such clients as Procter & Gamble, Danone and Philip Morris, and provides the basis for the solid growth of key client database for the Hong Kong office today.
Monica has also worked in England and Canada. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
