Friederike Biegel is Strategy Director with one of Europe’s leading full-service branding and corporate identity agencies, Peter Schmidt Group. Based on more than 10 years of experience in the field of brand strategy and design, Friederike currently leads the Brand Strategy Department of Peter Schmidt Group together with Dr. Christian Kosfeld.
As Peter Schmidt Group’s client list includes such recognized names as Hugo Boss, Linde, GoreTex, Jil Sander, Nivea, and Ebay, Friederike guides the sustainable brand development for some of the world’s brand leaders. Additionally, with particular specializations in the airline and financial industries, she has been influential in developing Peter Schmidt Group’s expertise and long-standing relationship with Lufthansa, Germanwings, and Kuwait’s new premium airline, Wataniya Airways as well as many of Germany’s largest banks.
Friederike’s expertise extends beyond brand strategy and design due to her Bachelor studies at Kingston University in Great Britain in the field of design. This flexible skill set enables her to maximize Peter Schmidt Group’s expertise beyond Brand Strategy and Corporate Identity, including Packaging Development, Online and Interactive Experience, Corporate Architecture, and Global Brand Implementation, in order to devise ideal and comprehensive customized client solutions.
In addition to this work, as a dedicated wife and mother, Friederike has been an influential member of driving Peter Schmidt Group’s community impact and charitable outreach to strengthen the brand development of Germany’s public and cultural institutions. This support has reached out to such institutions as the University of Hamburg, City of Hamburg, Charité Clinic for Neurology, and the Museum for Ethnology.
