2009 REBRAND 100 Winners > notable
Industry/Sector: Social Services Enterprise Rebrand Country Base: Germany Below: Before Images, Rebrand Images, Summary
Summary:
Industry Setting - St. Josefshaus is an institution working with disabled people, supporting families with handicapped members and moreover SJH tries to integrate them into „normal“ work life. The institution has several sub-institutions, each for a different sector like health, learning, working or old people.
Challenge - With 950 employees and nearly 1000 disabled people, the institution is like a little city that requires for example a guidance system and an easy to understand and recognize brand-identity. Another point was an accessible website under guideline of W3C.
Strategy - Our intention was to develop a brand concept for the different sections with a consistent appearance without loosing the independence of each individual logo. Moreover, the system has to be easy expandable (if new sectors are added). Color- and grid-guides help to develop new elements, friendly pictures help to deal with the handicap and don't cover it.
Result - Completely new and responsible brand with full media coverage, accessible website with many many information, better sympathy/understanding of disabled people in the public, we reduced the fear of contact.
