Summary:
Industry Setting - ERNO is a Europe-wide operating distribution of picture frames, albums and photo equipment, mainly for resellers. During the years many logotypes and picture-styles had been applied, so we decided in 2007 to rebrand and make the brand a high-quality product-platform.
Challenge - The challenge was to convince the management that a rebrand is absolutely necessary in order to be successful in the market place.
Strategy - New clear logo, new photo-style (see frames and pictures), system-wide design-grid, color-coding, high-quality print, recognizable brand (buttons, colors, font)
Result - Robust brand, unique in europe, market leader in Germany (in cooperation with Fuji), for customers easy to find specific products and identify the brand, higher response on direct marketing, big step (positive) in company history. The positive revaluation was achieved by brand-new photostyle of articles, title-pages and captions.
