Summary:

Industry Setting - LEVEL Studios is an independent digital agency that amplifies global brands by innovating across desktop, web and mobile environments.

Challenge - LEVEL's former name, Web Associates, had become outdated and no longer represented the agency's expertise, talent or insight. Since our inception in 1995, our range of services has broadened considerably and our name and other brand assets needed to be representative of our body of work and agency ideals.

Strategy -We changed the agency's name from Web Associates to LEVEL Studios. The new name represents two focal points for the agency moving forward. The "level" stands for pushing a client's ideas to the "next level" in terms of creative design, as well as offering them a balanced (or "level") suite of services. The new color palette and logo follow the aesthetic sense of the words "innovation" and "balance," which heavily influenced the new brand. LEVEL is a palindrome, which is an equally balanced word. It is written in all caps for the aesthetic value of its balance. The internal and client-facing brand assets, including the new website, all follow the new brand guidelines.

Result - Clients and staff have been able to identify far more closely with the LEVEL brand. The visuals and messaging are representative of the agency's ideals. The new agency separates itself from other agencies creatively and by focusing on what our clients are doing with our help, instead of on what we are doing for our clients.
