2009 REBRAND 100 Winners > merit
Industry/Sector: Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals Enterprise Rebrand Country Base: India Below: Before Images, Rebrand Images, Summary, Credits
Summary:
Industry Setting - Avesthagen Limited was looking to establish itself as a leading systems biology company and needed a consolidated identity, combining science and research expertise with a unique partnership model towards innovative solutions for predictive, preventive, personalized healthcare.
Challenge - • Young entrant in new space
• To differentiate itself and not resemble a start-up
• To be perceived as well-established, dependable, innovation-led – with sound scientific and business models in place
• Effectively communicate to audiences the scope of its diversified business units
Strategy - To give Avesthagen a strong identity and a clear, consolidated vision: ‘Bringing Science to Life’, setting it free from laboratories to work in the everyday world. Each business unit is individually branded to fit into a unified organizational structure. The imagery and visual language are distinctly Indian, rooted in tradition, but futuristic, contemporary and modern in expression – portraying a strong Indian contender on global platforms. The branding system allows various subsidiaries to stand independently, while maintaining clear relationships with the parent company.
Result -
Positioned as a fully integrated life sciences company, with a more confident self-image, the company scaled-up aggressively achieving a global benchmark valuation of Euro 115mn in 2007 and is looking to go public.
