Summary: Industry Setting - Valera Global (formerly Computer Car) is the premier provider of executive ground transportation, filling the void between cab and limousine services. Challenge - As Computer Car expanded its network of partners to include national and international services, the original name no longer represented its offerings nor did it speak to a high-profile clientele. As part of this evolution, a new identity was needed to both reflect the change in name and in the overall company image. Strategy - The cornerstone of the new Valera Global branding was a modern, iconic logo accentuated by a classic color palette and splashes of bright pink—a reference to Computer Car’s former passenger signs. Additionally, disparate points of communication were unified through a corporate voice, complemented by tightly cropped black and white photos that portray the lifestyle of the target consumer. High-end printing techniques also became integral to the overall strategy, echoing the company’s attention to detail. Result - As a result of a comprehensive marketing and branding strategy, Valera Global was repositioned as the transportation solution of choice for discerning clients. Since being re-named and re-branded, additional affiliations were formed. Of particular note was the recent partnership with the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City.
