Saabira Chaudhuri was born in Sri Lanka, spent the majority of her life in India, has lived in London, and now resides in New York. She is the Associate Editor for FastCompany.com, the website for Fast Company magazine, and reports across a range of business, technology, media and marketing topic areas. Before Fast Company, Saabira worked as the Associate Content Producer for Forbes Magazine in New York, creating multimedia content and writing articles to enhance the magazine's top business and lifestyle stories on Forbes.com. She has worked on independent projects for a range of organizations: the BBC World Service Trust in London; Global Rights- an international human rights advocacy group in Bangalore, India; Mapi Values- a health economics and patient reported outcomes company in Macclesfield, UK; and Itchy Media, a UK travel guide website based in London. Saabira has a strong interest in journalism, sociology and human rights issues, and graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in sociology and philosophy, from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts.
