Summary: Industry Setting - Blake Dawson is a leading Australian law firm operating internationally in a market where most law firms speak the same sober corporate language. Challenge - The firm wanted to stand out both for its excellence at law and for its distinctive personality. Strategy - Principals created a new brand strategy, which centred around the theme “Excellence with Rapport”, a stand out look and feel that featured the simple but humorous cartoons of New York Cartoonist Charles Barsotti. Result - The new brand was launched in November 2007 and has been recognised by peers and competitors as a breakthrough in the sector.
