Richard Wergan Director, Worldwide Brand, Xerox Corporation
As Director, Worldwide Brand at Xerox Corporation, Richard Wergan is responsible for the global management and development of the Xerox Brand. In this role, Richard manages and directs the brand strategy including the evolution of the Xerox brand identity, brand licensing and the management of the brand experience.Richard joined Xerox in 2002 as European Head of Brand and Marketing Communications where he was responsible for the strategic development and implementation of marketing programmes across Europe. Before joining Xerox, Richard was hired by the Y&R Group as Account Managing Director of IBM in EMEA. Richard frequently led multi-disciplined teams from across the Y&R Brands, for major clients such as BT, Unilever and Centrica. Richard has spent the last 15 years in the marketing communications industry working in agencies and multinationals. Passionate for strategic and integrated communications planning, Richard co-founded a direct communications agency in London in the mid 90’s. Richard started his career in brand management with Unilever in London. Richard graduated from Nottingham Business School (City of Nottingham University) with an honours degree in Business and Marketing and is a Chartered Marketer with both the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and the Chartered Institute of Direct Marketing (UK).
