Mauro Pastore is founding partner, creative and design director at Cacao Design, a highly awarded design firm in Milano. Within only two years time of Cacao Design’s existence, the firm’s work has been globally recognized by the Red Dot Communication Awards, The ADCI, the How Design Annual, The Best of Brochure Design, and in the first two editions of ReBrand 100™.However, his name started to appear in the international Design Annuals since 1991, accompanied by an Honorable Mention on the Art Directors Club of Europe, while he was working at Franco Gaffuri Comunicazione, one of the most important design firms of Italy at that time, where he started his career in 1988. Before Cacao Design, he had been one of the founders of Inox Design, another well known design firm in Milano, where he had been working for ten years (1993-2003). From 1997 to 2002, he also had many experiences (one or two months each year) as a freelance Senior Designer for Baker Brand Communications (Santa Monica, California) and Mucca Design (New York). Together with his Cacao Design partners, in 2006, Pastore founded Eulda Books, a new publishing house with the goal of promoting excellence in European design around the world through publications of the highest quality. The first editorial project launched this past winter: Eulda the European Logo Design Annual. His portfolio of work includes projects for Blinko, Casa Damiani, Colliers Elitrade, EDS Electronic Data Systems Corporation, Jones Lang Lasalle, Kellogg’s, MTV Networks, Sector Group, Sky TV.
