Now with the size to compete in the global marketplace, Astellas needed to be positioned and launched in its most critical market, the United States. Strategy - DeLor positioned Astellas as a company setting out to be different...from the start. DeLor’s positioning platform defined Astellas by those areas of business that truly differentiated the new company and captured the best of the former companies’ heritage. Result - “Different from the Start” provided a platform from which Astellas could tell their audiences not only what they do, but how differently they do it. The unique visual approach reinforced that there’s something different at work here, something that stands in contrast to industry-standard “happy lifestyle” imagery.
