Summary:

Challenge - In order to attract top-ranked high school students beyond the Texas border, Baylor University needed to shatter the misperception that it was just a small, private, Baptist university located in Waco, Texas.

Strategy - Use an integrated advertising campaign to communicate the following: - Baylor is a top-ranked university
- Baylor has proven that academic excellence and active Christian faith are strengthened by one another
- A true education happens both in and out of the classroom
The creative presents the student’s perspective on how Baylor provides a community environment and education that truly are above and beyond any other major university.

Result - 2005 freshman class:
- Largest ever in history of university
- Highest ever average SAT score
2006 freshman class:
- As of August 2005, applications are up 300 percent versus August 2004
