Sujata Keshavan is managing director of Ray & Keshavan Design, India’s leading brand identity and design consultancy. She was the first Indian woman to obtain a postgraduate degree in Graphic Design, graduating from Yale University School of Art with an MFA in Graphic Design in 1987. Sujata has won several awards for her work, including the Eastern Press Award and the Schikle Collingwood Prize for outstanding work in graphic design. In 1989 she founded Ray & Keshavan Design, a company that has spearheaded large brand identity programs for South Asia’s industry leaders. Sujata is the only Indian designer to have been twice honored as Graphic Designer of the Year in 1992 and 1994 in Asia’s A&M Awards for Advertising and Design Excellence.
