| Hani Asfour
Hani Asfour American University of Beirut, Lebanon
Hani Asfour teaches architecture and design at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. His expertise encompasses experience, architectural, environmental graphics and information design. Previously, Hani was lead experience designer at the Viant Innovation Center, where he developed prototypes and explored new directions in interface design and customer experiences. He worked on a range of projects for many clients, including General Motors and Frank Gehry. Hani led the effort designing Viant’s offices, developing frameworks for a highly collaborative work place to reflect the organization’s culture. The Los Angeles office received the International Interior Design Association’s Calibre Award and has been featured in two major motion pictures. Hani served on the board of the American Center for Design and chaired the organization’s Ninth Annual Living Surfaces Conference, Multiples of 1. As an architect, Hani contributed to the Getty Museum master plan in Malibu, California and has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design and Northeastern University. Hani received a MAarch with Distinction from Harvard Graduate School of Design and a BS in Art and Design from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
