Order of information below: Before Image, Rebrand Images, Summary/Rebrand Strategy, Credits
Summary: Challenge - To re-establish its market position, the new owners of a previously failed bank sought assistance in creating a new branded environment. Strategy - A "Banking with Style" concept was developed to facilitate product value and customer satisfaction- a concept unique to the Japanese banking industry. This branding initiative was rolled out in all existing branches. The concept's complete incorporation into the bank's business from its physical environment to collateral to its philosophy and culture, provided a single, consistent voice to the public. Result - As a result, a recent survey shows the bank is now the second most recognized brand in Japan.
